May was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA, but raised in Baltimore, MD. He is best known for playing drums (and subsequently bass) in Glenn Danzig's post-Misfits/pre-Danzig punk/goth band Samhain, which he joined in the summer of 1985. May played on the group's best known release, November-Coming-Fire as well as Samhain Live '85–'86, the bonus tracks on the 2001 re-release of the band's last album, Final Descent, and the band’s career spanning “Box Set” collection.

During his long and continuing music career he has also recorded and performed with such popular artists as Lol Tolhurst (of The Cure), Tiger Army, Son Of Sam, Dag Nasty, Lee Ving (of Fear), Pat Smear (Of Nirvana, Germs), Exene Cervenka (of X), Cold Cave, Boredoms, Reptile House, Jackass star Chris Pontius, artist Doug Aiken, Rikk Agnew (of Christian Death and Adolescents), and Distorted Pony. In 2017 London joined the legendary Black Metal group, Ritual. In 2020 London began drumming for Industrial legends MINISTRY.

London’s “greatest hits” drumming anthology Devilution: The Early Yearswas released on CD and vinyl 7/1/16 on Cleopatra Records.

London began his acting career early in Baltimore's renowned Children's Theater Association. After a long break to pursue a burgeoning and successful music career, London returned to acting in 2010, studying improv at The iO West and classic theater with Uranium Madhouse, where he made his 2014 Los Angeles stage debut in "The Duchess Of Malfi". He was also cast in 2012’s The Dark Knight Rises, and co-starred in the pilot episode of Ron Howard's "The Great Escape" and "Cold Sweat", a short directed by James Cameron's DP Paul Babin. He has since acted in dozens of productions including movies (“Brutal Realty, Inc.”, “New West”, "The Suicide Flowers",  "Massacre", et al.), TV (Disney's "Walk The Prank", Oxygen's "Three Days To Live", and Discovery's "True Nightmares"), stage ("Saw" Director Darren L. Bousman's, "The Tension Experience", Leigh Cordner's "Medieval Times", and “Bride Of Blood,”) and popular music videos for Hilary Duff, Aimee Mann, American Football, Strung Out, and many others. In April 2017 London became a member of SAG-AFTRA. In 2019 London produced and starred in Brutal Realty Inc. a comedy/horror short film that went on to great acclaim and garner eight international festival awards. The short was released on Amazon Prime in 2020 and a feature length version is in development at this time.
